Saturno

Faux uni that crosses over into a deconstructed geometry of horizontal lines. A mélange of wefts of five different yarns, composed in a subtle play of different shades of a single colour. A texture of yarns that reveals the wool component to the touch, essential for achieving the relief effect. All 12 versions are based on the white of the chain: a neutral base that recalls Carlo Scarpa's 'transparent' murrine. Saturno has the warp in evo nylon, an eco-sustainable yarn obtained from castor seeds and used by Rubelli for some years now.
